I attempted to construct a replica of a well-known Liebherr-brand crawler crane. If to be trustworthy it was my dream to construct a human-high technic crane.
This mannequin is approx two meters excessive. It has 5 impartial winches! Real crane has six, however two of them goes to at least one hook, what was not essential to signify in lego model.
Except string crane is construct of 100% Lego. As a counterweight I used three large battery packing containers within the superstructure and three ones within the extra counterweight carriage.
Below I’ll listing crane’s features.RC:
1,2) Chassis drive and steering – one L motor for every observe.
3) Superstructure rotation
4) Operator’s cabin uplifting through small linear actuator
5) Main increase winch
6) Luffing Jib winch – winch is situated on the primary increase like within the authentic mannequin
7) First hook winch
8) Second hook winch – winch is situated on the primary increase like within the authentic mannequin
Manual:
1) Derrick increase winch – wants solely when assembling/disassembling crane
2) Addiction counterweight extensioin – must stability crane beneath heavy masses
3) Addiction counterweight up/low – must stability crane beneath heavy masses or and not using a load
4) Addiction counterweight steering – must steer wheels within the counterweight carriage when superstructure rotating and must make wheels parallel to maneuver crane ahead or backward
5) Chassis uplifting – chassis have put in 4 small linear actuators which may raise the chassis beneath the bottom to placed on tracks like in the true Liebherr!!
As TLG would not have any pulleys of 0.5 stud vast and with the pin gap within the middle and 3D elements are too costly I made a decision to drill the unique ones.
Firstly I used Four mm drill to make a spherical gap as a substitute of an axle, after 4,5 mm and completed with the 5 mm drill. No any half was broke.
All pneumatics are included within the elements listing. I exploit tubes from 8110 & 42043 units.
Crane makes use of 3d get together strings!
