Shortly after constructing the Agamemnon, I spotted I used to be 75% of the way in which to a design for the Nova class dreadnought EAS Schwarzkopff (named after good ol’ Stormin’ Norman!).
The important pic is a render from the LDD file (achieved in BlueRender), however this is some stickered-up as-built ones:
More pics in my Flickr album.
I took the bottom mannequin and developed it by means of a couple of variations (construct thread on Eurobricks), earlier than selecting this last one.
The engine part is mainly an identical to the Agamemnon, with the addition of some vibrant stickered yellow components. Note that the LDD file makes use of some completely different components on the finish of the Four engines (wheels with axle holes not pins, only one 2×2 spherical every not 2, no axle pins) however the components record has been up to date to line up higher with the way in which I constructed it.
The head and body are principally the identical, with the plain exception of the weapons. The midsection is clearly completely new (and a ache to assemble!).
Note that for the 12 LBG Wedge Four x 4 Triple Inverted components (#4855), I substituted previous gentle gray components as a result of LBG ones are stupidly costly, and most sellers truly solely have previous gentle gray anyway (even when they are saying it is LBG – beware!). You cannot actually inform the distinction, aside from the barely greenish tint.
Stats-wise, model three of the Schwarzkopf is about 83x29x16cm. It accommodates ~3850 components, about 900 lower than the Agamemnon.
LDD information for all three variations plus two phrase paperwork with stickers (one for clear-backed sheet, one for a white sheet) can be found in my Bricksafe folder.
As with the Agamemnon, apologies that there are no LDD teams or respectable directions (LDD’s generated ones are kinda junk), however utilizing the Hide software will present you how one can put all of it collectively. That’s how I constructed it!
If you construct it, have enjoyable! It makes a superb companion to the Agamemnon. I used to have them displayed aspect by aspect, which regarded superior. 😉
