MOC-12528 Porsche 911 GT2 (2018 991 / GT2 RS)

My favourite automobile of all time is the 911 all the way in which again to the 1960s unique.  With the insane GT2 model being the cream of that crop. So once I noticed somebody had taken the Turbo Track Racer set and

crafted a 911 from it I used to be impressed. First to purchase that set and construct me a Lego

Porsche, however shortly after to deal with constructing one myself.

This construct attracts its base inspiration from Amaman’s masterful package conversion, however it’s constructed

with out the constraints of a set half checklist. I’ve modified various the

chassis items out and reworked some components for a greater match. The hood and

doorways open and I’ve stored amaman’s race designed cabin. The engine design now

higher represents the Twin Turbo discovered within the GT2 variant. — But as I’m

penning this I now understand the GT2 is a Flat6 not an inline6 and my engine

orientation is off… Oh effectively, there’s certain to be updates! — I’ve given the

arches and suspension some love too. The coloration scheme I’ve modified to a theme

I’ve at all times needed in a 911.

This venture was the primary actual life street automobile MOC I’ve labored on, and it was the catalyst for

one other MOC of a automobile I like: the Formula 1 automobile.
