MOC-8658 34,8 km/h – Black speed record breaker (worlds fastest remote controlled 2 motor LEGO ” car “)

Worlds fastest RC-car constructed with 100% unmodified LEGO-elements utilizing solely 2 motors.

This car (trike) was constructed for nothing else then pure speed… to interrupt all information till now (June 2017).

Although that is only a small mannequin, it took over 2 month of creating, to optimize weight, wheels, rotating mass, stability, air resistance, and complete friction.

The key of this mannequin is the 1wheel (bike-like) steering system.

Technic specs:

Including panels in studs: 55 size,  21 huge, 12 peak (wheels) -> weigth: 650g

Chassis solely (able to race) : 42 size, 21 huge, 12 peak (wheels) -> weigth: 621g (with out speed laptop)

Ground clearance: 0,5 studs

Gearing: 2:1up on the quick output of the buggy-motors

Top speed: 34,8 km/h

Panel stickers are from 42046 Getaway-Racer-set.

Building directions as LDD-file proper now.  Video-instructions coming quickly, however first i would like to complete the 4-motor-model 😉
