Two very small Great Ball Contraption (GBC) modules. The Ball Pump is the very first iteration of the Sherry Caywood design for the GBC Workshop at Bricks By the Bay 2017 in Santa Clara, California. Sherry modified that design to make the workshop module compliant with the GBC specification by having a 10x10x10 “inbox.”

I left the unique design because it was and created a easy Stepper module. Neither is compliant with the GBC specification; the balls are confined to journey alongside axles. What I wished was a really compact meeting, and it really works effectively. It ran for about twenty hours at Maker Faire Bay Area 2017 in San Mateo, California with none issues.

I discovered that most people does not know or care if the meeting is GBC compliant. What the general public likes to see are modules the place each attainable ball location in reality has a ball in that location. It one way or the other satisfies some intuition about being full. This meeting can function for hours with each step within the Stepper module stuffed with a ball.

There are separate constructing directions for the Ball Pump and the Stepper, and for a set of common joints that join the 2.
